NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 considers that the closure specified below should come into force.
Road Affected:-
Cole Henry Road, Whitchurch – 440m in length from the junction with Larks Barrow Lane to the Junction with Ashley Warren
Reason for Closure:-
Works will be undertaken to enable utilities work on behalf of Morrisons
Alternative Route:-
via Cole Henley Road, Larks Barrow Hill, Newbury Road, London Street, B3400 London Road, B3400 High Street, Kingsclere Road, Cole Henry Road or by this route reversed.
Period of closure:-
The closure will come into effect on 15 July 2019 for 5 days only (until 19 July 2019 or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner)
